A refreshed South Asia style residential

This is a renovation of an old house that has lived for 20 years。In view of it‘s location is in the hot and humid Guangzhou, the owner decided to entrust me to redesign it in a cool and transparent Nanyang style, as a retirement habitat for the next 20 years.

The designer was born on the border of Vietnam and grew up in a background of typical Southeast Asian style decoration and architecture. I wanted to bring the year-round quiet experience of a Southeast Asian house into the vision of this house.

Chinese houses are particularly mobile, and there are not many people who settle down for a long time like the owners. This allows us to introduce more sustainable materials and natural materials into the design to help
