Dorit Fromm is a design researcher and writer, an architect, and has worked in communications for the design industry. She primarily writes about the intersection of architecture, design and community and has written for publications such as Places, Architectural Review, Metropolis, Journal of Architecture and Planning Research, Built Environment, ArcCa, and Communities. She authored two books: Cluster Cohousing Revisited, co-authored with Els de Jong, which looks at the first Dutch cohousing community from a 40-year perspective and Collaborative Communities, which describes the wide variety of European and American models of collaborative housing.
