This A-Frame Cabin With Yosemite Vibes Could Be Yours for $620K
Far Meadow is a 10-acre property comprised of a modern A-frame, a restored log cabin, and plenty of solitude.
Designers Veronique Lievre and Heinz Legle found something special when they came across a remote, 10-acre lot in California's High Sierra. Eager to share their slice of paradise with others, the duo—founders of the architectural-getaway platform BoutiqueHomes—fixed up an original log cabin and added a new A-frame to the property, renaming it 'Far Meadow' and renting the space to others. Now, the entire package is up for sale.
Created by designers Veronique Lievre and Heinz Legler, Far Meadow is a 10-acre, two-cabin compound located on the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, about an hour's drive from Yosemite.

Located about an hour's drive from Yosemite, the compound sits nestled on the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, 14 miles above Bass Lake. Off-grid and solar-powered, Far Meadow offers a chance to disconnect and relax. "We created Far Meadow to be a simple retreat for chic nomads to enjoy the beauty of the High Sierra," the couple explain. "From start to finish, the entire project has been about nature, fun with friends, and classic design in the mountains." When the couple acquired the land, a small log cabin was already on the site. They eventually refurbished that structure and added a one-bedroom A-frame cabin to another area of the property.
