Bear River Country Log Homes produces kits composed of high-quality, pre-cut building materials that are stamped for easy assembly. They offer both stock and custom-designed log homes milled from seasoned western woods including local pine varieties, spruce, and Douglas fir.

Salt Lake City–based Avrame is the U.S. outpost of a popular European A-frame kit home company. Their steeply angled roofs can be equipped with solar panels, making them ideal for off-grid sites. Although the homes aren’t pre-assembled or modular, each kit consists of parts that are pre-cut, drilled, and ready for construction.

Salt Lake City–based Modal’s prefabricated accessory dwelling units are built off-site and then delivered completely assembled and ready to install with nine-foot-high ceilings, built-in furniture, bed frames with integrated storage, and fully equipped kitchens.
