Expedition Log Homes in Oostburg, WI
Located north of Milwaukee along Lake Michigan, Expedition Log Homes designs and manufactures kit log and timber homes in a range of sizes and styles, from more traditional, simple cabins to larger, more elaborate and modern residences. With an emphasis on quality and customization, they offer their kiln-dried logs in more than eight corner styles and different wood species. Their construction packages arrive on site with exterior insulated log wall systems that are ready to be installed.

In operation since 2006, Vertical Works Inc. of Oak Creek, Wisconsin has been manufacturing modular homes and residential additions throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Established in 1973, Stratford Homes has completed more than 12,000 new homes through modular construction techniques. Their designs include single and two-story options that are typically cabin-inspired or traditional in style. The company serves the Midwest and Northern Pacific, and has more than twenty different floor plan options in addition to customization options.

Wick Buildings has a long history in Wisconsin: the company was established in 1954 by John F. Wick, a Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a background in agriculture and advanced schooling in business and engineering. Today, the company produces many rural building typologies, including a "shouse" -- a combination of living and storage/workspace that typically uses clear-span trusses to provide wide open spaces and high ceilings. Supporting these large spaces are prefabricated wood trusses up to 100 feet long that arrive on site along with siding, roofing, liners, and trim that are formed and cut from rolled steel at Wick's production facilities.
