Attention all Call Me by Your Name fans: the grand 16th-century mansion that served as the main set for the award-winning romance is now on the market. The historic residence is perched on a plateau near the Adda River in Cremona, a small province in the Italian region of Lombardy.

Set on a sprawling 4.9-acre lot, the eight-bedroom villa was built in the 1500s for the influential Milanese Vimercati family, who settled in the area around the 13th century. The residence was constructed from the ruins of a previous castle located on-site, and it was originally designed as a cubic structure with a four-pitched roof.

The villa has undergone several renovations over the years, with the most notable one taking place in the 18th century, when the property was remodeled to its present-day state.

Measuring 15,000 square feet, Villa Albergoni has a front portico on the north side and two towers located at its corners. On the east side of the building is a service wing, which was added in the 19th century.

Steeped in ancient history, the residence boasts barrel-vaulted ceilings, terrazzo floors, and opulent frescoed murals—some of which were completed in the 16th century by Aurelio Busso, a pupil of famed Italian painter Raphael.

The home has a total of 14 rooms, including eight bedrooms, seven baths, and a large library, kitchen, and dining room. In addition to a full attic, there is also a cellar, which is located in the center of the villa on the lower level and accessed by the main staircase.

Two annexes are also included in the sale. The first is a so-called farmer's house, located on the west side of the property, while the second smaller building sits to the left of the entrance and was used as the housekeeper’s residence.

Although the estate is in need of further restoration, it offers the chance to not only own a slice of Italian history, but also the ability to play out your favorite scenes of the film—just without the beloved Perlman family.

Villa Albergoni is currently listed for €1,700,000 (approximately $1,890,750 USD) by House & Loft.
