Actor Jeff Bridges Lists His Spanish Colonial Revival Abode For $8M
Jeff Bridges, the Academy Award-winning actor best known for his roles in The Last Picture Show, The Big Lebowski, and Crazy Heart, is selling his estate in Montecito, California. The single-story main residence was originally built in 1919 by architect James Osborn Craig, whom many historians credit with influencing the Spanish Colonial Revival style found throughout Santa Barbara architecture today.
With three bedrooms and two-and-a-half-baths, the home was extensively remodeled in 2016, but retains many original features. The four-acre property sits at the end of a private driveway, and also offers fruit trees, a detached garage, and a large horse stable.
1690 San Leandro Lane in Montecito, California is currently listed for $7,995,000 by Sally Hanseth of Coldwell Banker.
