8255 Oakwood Avenue is a Moroccan inspired, six-bedroom, six-bathroom custom home that combines traditional Moroccan vernacular with a modern, minimalistic twist.

LA-based developer Noesis Group, founded by Igal Azran, tapped local architecture, urban planning and interiors firm Newman Garrison + Partners to bring this vision to life. Azran wanted to create a home that pays homage to his Moroccan heritage. The residence’s exterior is distinct – from the wooden front gates with intricate carvings to the Moorish-style windows and geometric patterns dotting the entirety of the home.

Step inside, and the Moroccan style is balanced with contemporary elements such as an open floor plan, large glass windows and clean lines, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience.

The three-story residence spans more than 5,500 square feet, with the ground floor dedicated to entertaining, boasting a spacious indoor/outdoor living space, gourmet kitchen and private pool. The second level is accessed by a sculptural staircase and leads to the sleeping quarters, and the third-floor is designed to capture the spectacular views of the Hollywood Hills, which can be admired from an expansive terrace inclusive of a fireplace.

8255 Oakwood is a seamless combination of tradition and culture in the middle of West Hollywood.
