This basic builder home was built in the early 2000's. Complete with dated cherry cabinets, very minimal millwork, and almost every wall painted rose or yellow - we set out to transform this wallflower of a home into a lovely California casual style. The project involved completely gutting the kitchen, reconfiguring the too large powder room and too small mudroom, removing a large soaking tub in the master and replacing it with a more elegant freestanding tub and walk-in glass shower. By using a mixture of neutral colors with pops of navy and coral, we elevated this once dated home into a lovely space.
