This was a special project because we worked on the main house and the new owners re-hired us to renovate their guest house, which was the original farmhouse on the estate. Our goal for this guesthouse was to create the perfect mix of farmhouse & elegance and our client was thrilled with the end results. Some of our favorite features of this home include the stunning showers, the great use of space in the kitchen, and the gorgeous finishes and detailing throughout. In the bathroom, for the shower door, we used frameless glass with matte black finish hardware. This went beautifully with the matte black shower head and faucet duo and gave some contrast to the soft white walls and shower flooring. For the shower, we used marble tile in a picket pattern which provided both a gorgeous look & texture. One of our specialties is to re-imagine a space that was previously under-utilized and make it a functional (and beautiful) part of any room. In the kitchen, we used gorgeous wooden floating shelves on top of a white shiplap wall and added 10" deep cabinets for maximum storage space. We added a clay tile backsplash in a linear pattern to stay fresh and modern and created a coffee bar with an oddly narrow space that was underutilized. In addition, the brushed brass detailing combined with the matte white finish, gave this kitchen a look of sheer elegance.
