The historic Villa Harrah, on the shores of Lake Tahoe, once owned by the famed Harrah Casino Magnate, William Fist Harrah who’s sprawling estate was built in the 1960’s specifically to entertain his legendary friends such as Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack who came here to party and relax for a while in this secluded cove. The home just completed a 10-million-dollar renovation of the over 22,000 square foot property that paid homage to its 1963 origins while simultaneously introducing a modern-day aesthetic.
The house’s great room maintains its mid-century roots within its 35’ panoramic view of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra mountain range. It has been reinterpreted with resort-style amenities that include a billiards lounge, sports bar, a cozy seating lounge surrounding a large circular suspended fireplace, relaxing salt cave, indoor spa and sauna, plunge pool and intriguing cinema room.
