This family house is located at a rural valley on Buin, Santiago Metropolitan region.
Inserted in an avocado plantation, an area was cleared to better locate the house and seek a good sun orientation.
The apparently closed access facade is broken after entering the house with the light that arrives from the patio.
The house program is based in two volumes -private and public-, and its connection happens through the entrance hall and two main architectural elements: patio and corridor.
These elements accentuate the interior-exterior relationship, typical of this field typology, being spaces where temperature and light become softness.
The protected outdoor spaces, such as the terrace and barbecue area, connect to the house and onto the open garden, being the protagonists of the family life.
