THE PROJECT: CONVERTING A FORMER NAIL SALON INTO A RESTAURANT SPACE
This project called for the complete gutting and renovation of an old hair salon in order to convert it to a restaurant space. The job involved not only design but also careful project management to make sure the multiple parties working on the renovation stayed on the same page.
DESIGNING A SOLUTION
TNB’s design called for gutting and renovating both the former salon space and the basement to make room for the walk-in refrigeration unit and storage areas. Working with a commercial kitchen consultant and an interior design concept from Input Creative Studio we helped shape the space and ensure that the design concepts were carried through to give the intended look and feel. We managed construction and administration of the job, ensuring the contractors had the materials and input they needed to build the space as planned. We navigated uncooperative building owners and some very difficult site conditions to get this completed.
THE RESULT
We turned the former hair salon into a modern restaurant space, carefully managing the project to deliver the design as envisioned.
