4 years after the launch of LumiPod, French company LUMICENE continues to expand their high-end cabin concept and to offer a new approach to sensory experience in the hospitality sector.

Latest project is in the heart of Jura at Maison Zugno, a 5-star hotel near Poligny, where a 26sqm hotel bedroom has been delicately installed on top of a belvedere.
Blending harmoniously into the landscape and offering a unique panorama of the valley, from behind the curved windows or from the private terrace, one can live a unique experience of peace and connection to nature.

LumiPod has been designed as a high-end hotel room therefore great attention has been paid to the design and choice of materials. The configuration is minimalist and focuses on the essential, but no sacrifice was made on comfort.

LumiPod is conceived and manufactured in the firm’s workshop near Lyon, France, and is composed of two modules fully assembled off-site and then reunited on site.

The front module hosts the bedroom and lounge area, with king size bed and bespoke central unit in natural oak with optimized storage units. The 120° reversible window opens completely to offer an incredible experience of immersion in the surrounding nature.
The rear module fits the bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet, as well as floor to ceiling cupboard. Floor and walls are covered with MOSA anthracite ceramic tiles, bathroom fittings are from AXOR.
