Our Luton Van conversion was the second van conversion we have undertaken. Unlike the first, we wanted this van to be more of a home on wheels and less of a campervan. The van is a Ford Transit luton/box van.

When planning Luna, we knew that the ability to be able to stay on a beach or in a forest for weeks at a time was a priority and therefore we made Luna as self-sufficient as possible. The van has a 160 litre fresh water tank, 120 watt solar panel supplying two 150ah leisure batteries, lpg oven, grill and stove and a 12v cooler.

Luna has an "en-suite" bathroom with a lpg heated shower, and a cassette toilet.

Storage is taken care of with the units by our bed, under our sofa, the "broom cupboard" near the bathroom and the overhead storage on either side of the van.

One of the best things about Luna is the rear barn doors and fold down tail lift allowing us to have a garden/balcony wherever we stop in the van. It has made for some great evening meals and we often think to get this view from a balcony in a hotel would cost a fortune!

Our travels in Luna have taken us as far as Dubrovnik in Croatia and Pompeii in Italy. We are hoping to reach Morocco in the near future.
