Martis Camp Family Home by Jill Dudensing Lifestyle + Design

Jill Dudensing has just completed a unique and dimensional design project in Truckee’s Martis Camp. Perched on a quiet hillside near the summit of the Martis Camp development, the four-season home reflects influences of Prairie architecture and natural modernism. The studs-up project was designed for a family of four and was a three-year labor of love for the designer whose theme was to include familiar as well as unexpected elements. “The timeless architectural spaces provided a framework to create spaces that are, at once, open and intimate,“ says Dudensing, “I wanted these to be spaces that you had to visit several times before you are able to appreciate all of the details.” The complex mixture of textures, materials and colors lends an uncommon balance of fine and family-friendly that is difficult to achieve and makes this home truly one-of-a-kind and to be enjoyed by multiple generations of family and friends.
