From Case Design / Remodeling San Jose
This San Jose kitchen takes it's design cues from Scandinavia with its modern minimalist decor. Technology-forward Bosch appliances were set flush with thermo structured surface cabinetry from Italy for a sleek integrated look. Organic white Caesarstone quartz was installed as counter tops. The waterfall edge of the peninsula complements the cabinetry with a clean, bright finish.
Just 260 square feet in size, this modestly sized kitchen was completely reconfigured to improve efficiency. An unused closet, oversized sink, awkwardly placed dish washer, partial wall, and outdated materials were removed to make space for the current configuration. The design team worked with the homeowners to understand both their design aesthetic as well as how they wanted to use the space. The new modern design maximizes storage and counterspace plus incorporates a better workflow for two people simultaneously.
