From Shawn Hendrix

The MDU (modular dwelling unit) is our version of a tiny home and is designed to be equally comfortable on a postage stamp sized lot or combined in groups for urban environments. A key consideration in its development was utilizing its modular nature to allow for façade articulation through pushing, pulling, and rotating.

The MDU is specifically designed for flexibility and adaptability. These homes can be transformed and clad to fit into the character of any neighborhood, be a jewel in the rear yard of an existing residence, or can be combined in various ways to achieve greater density on infill lots.

As municipalities across the country strive to stem the housing crisis – lower cost low income or supportive housing communities with small standardized and repeatable footprints will be needed. This offering provides high quality, artfully designed, universally accessible space for ALL. For this use - the intangibles and positive impacts are far reaching with long term and short term tenants having access to an aesthetically pleasing home - meticulously designed.
