Venerable, historic residences with a contemporary spirit - Welcome to the Gründerzeit villas, Meisterstück.

The Meisterstück villa ensemble in Berlin-Dahlem, originally built during the German Gründerzeit – the age of mass industrialization, economic upswing and urban development – is currently being lovingly restored. This splendid architectural ensemble, which initially served as a school and administration building, was erected in 1909. At that time, cityscapes everywhere were evolving rapidly as cities expanded to accommodate new arrivals from the countryside. Farmland was transformed into flourishing urban districts and the demand for new housing was enormous. There was a massive construction boom – and Gründerzeit was the defining architectural style.

Stately villas in harmony with modern life

These two Gründerzeit villas combine the most beautiful elements of several epochs. Historically protected, these stylistically authentic residences are situated in Berlin’s green, elegant villa quarter of Dahlem. Magnificent facades with elegant stucco ornamentation, as delicate as icing on a cake, are characteristic of the stately buildings from this period. The Meisterstück villas are decorated with floral and geometric flourishes. Even today, such embellishments are still very popular.
The unique contemporary interpretation of these two historic buildings will both surprise and delight. The architect, Ninous Tatari, and the interior designer, Sibel Huhn, have created an upscale world of warmth and comfort. The room layouts have been refined with high-quality design touches and furnishings, bridging between contemporary design and the historical legacy of the dawning 20th century.
