A newlywed couple, excitedly anticipating the arrival of their baby, has lovingly acquired a stunning mid-century house designed by the renowned architect Roy Johnson, a pupil of the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright. Nestled atop a charming hill in Westchester County, this architectural gem captivates with its unique hexagonal shape that gracefully expands into a star-like form. A breathtaking central skylight bathes the interior in natural light, perfectly positioned above a welcoming fireplace, inviting warmth and comfort into the heart of their home.

The design masterfully showcases an interplay between indoor and outdoor spaces, a hallmark of Wright’s visionary approach to architecture.

As the couple embarks on the journey of transforming this beautiful space, their intention is to seamlessly integrate contemporary elements into the interior, enriching the existing aesthetic without drastically altering the house's original layout. Their renovation will thoughtfully consider the living needs of their growing family, ensuring a harmonious blend of new and old. Every selection of materials, from flooring to textiles, is carefully chosen to complement the house’s existing color palette, alongside a curated collection of modern furniture and elegant lighting that will brighten their new home.
