Inspired by a mid-century palette of warm wood textures, clean white tones, and sharp black accents, this minimalist white oak kitchen finds its home in a 1950's tropical modern house. Miami architect's Haley Perry & Hermann Gonzalez designed the compact kitchen sparing no expense to maximize the available space. Every corner, drawer and cabinet custom in size, methodically designed to house it's contents within a simple to use and efficient layout. Sequential white oak cabinet doors come into alignment when closed, celebrating the craftsmanship of the mid-century era. Lead designer Haley describes the kitchen, "it's designed like a well-crafted piece of furniture, simple in it's aesthetic and clever in it's detailing," Hermann adds on, "even the underside of the upper cabinets receives a solid piece of white oak complete with integrated lighting, while usually left unfinished this sort of detailing presents the cabinets as one finished piece." Despite it's clean and simple appearance this kitchen is definitely designed for cooking, whipping up some of Miami's finest Cuban-American home cooked meals.
