Architectural designer Sanam de Loren, of de Loren & Associates, has revealed her latest triumph - Sky Lane. The cutting-edge, 17,000 square foot modern residential oasis is perched high in the famous Los Angeles hills and offers unparalleled, jetliner vistas from Downtown to the Pacific Ocean. The significant home is visible from The J. Paul Getty Museum and de Loren approached the design knowing it would be an extension of the artistic experience for museum guests.

Inspired by the clean lines and interior spatial layouts of yachts paired with a motion of the sea, the curving exterior facades are reminiscent of ocean waves, wind and clouds that make not only for an exhilarating lifestyle but also appealing to the viewer. Additionally inspired by mathematical forms found in nature, the Fibonacci spiral is seen in the grand driveway as well as the sprawling 300-fruit tree orchard.

Elegantly blending the masculine steel and concrete elements required to accomplish a construction feat of such grandeur on its hillside locale with feminine curvatures throughout, de Loren created a home that will allow the owners to enjoy the quintessential California indoor/outdoor lifestyle in a truly modern setting replete with all the finest modern amenities.

The three-story home is constructed by Barry Simzar’s Channel Development and boasts seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three powder rooms across three levels.
