Updated Traditional - Bay Area designer Ruth Preucel creates a light-and-airy, all-white farmhouse kitchen with a twist for a home in Oakland, CA. The remodeled space was appointed with recessed lighting, eco-certified European pre-finished engineered oak wood flooring, full inlay wood cabinets and a custom-designed eat/ work alcove. "The client really wanted a serene and welcoming space filled with light in which to come home to after a hectic day at work," adds Ruth. Contrasting granite is paired with a glass tile backsplash to provide counterpoint to this all white interior.
