Oasi del Parco at the Parco Acque of the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini

L’Oasi del Parco is the new expansion with the outdoor area of the wonderful wellness center Parco Acque at the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini in Gubbio, a new hospitable volumetric space, an ambitious project ideally connected to the structure created in 2012.
"To say that the Parco Acque ai Cappuccini is a “node of memory and memories” is to understand the extraordinariness of the place where this project “could not help but arise”. Enhancing the uniqueness of a territory in this way means opening a dialogue with the land and the existing, cultivating a field that time itself has proven to be exceedingly fertile in terms of richness, experience, wonder, and enchantment." Architect Simone Micheli had this in mind when Carmela Colaiacovo, the hostess of the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini in Gubbio, asked him for a new wellness space, in a land rich in history, passions, and truths, qualities that guided him in the search for the concept.
The hospitality structure, an icon of wellness, presents through the strong mark of Architect Simone Micheli, a lively and dynamic space capable of offering a surreal experience, where the user is immersed in a suspended space-time dimension, between dream and reality. An euphony of shapes, a fusion of elements generating emotional tension, where suggestive contrasts and complementary opposites invite guests to explore new dimensions of introspection.
The volumetry is clad internally and externally with a bush-hammered stainless steel skin, extremely reflective, capable of creating suggestive reflections and visual alterations, determining effects of deliberate dissonance and at the same time peculiar osmosis with the surrounding landscape. This deliberate material-visual estrangement intends to create a bridge between present and future, between historical pre-existences and the surrounding anthropized landscape. Entering the structure, guests will have access to multiple services connected to the dimension of wellness for body and mind: from the relaxing indoor/outdoor pool equipped with hydromassage, to the suggestive Kneipp path, from the revitalizing reaction showers to the wide area dedicated to rest and contemplation.
Large window surfaces, marked by metallic profiles, connect this spatial segment with the outside, outlining a solid and unusual relationship, while a spacious solarium offers an ideal space for relaxation under the sun. A tangible connection with the outside world envelops guests in a luminous and embracing embrace, enriching the experience of relaxation and regeneration.
Modulations of light and changing chromatic blends shape the spaces, coloring furnishings and surfaces: lighting fixtures diffuse a suspended, almost ethereal light, contributing to creating an atmosphere of contemplation and serenity, among the totemic presences of the fluid columns and furnishings with sinuous lines.
Quietude and silence blend with delicate scents and sounds, through hidden acoustic translators, which make the entire architecture resonate. This space does not define itself in a single narrative, but presents itself as an improbable entity that challenges the surrounding context, bearer of countless dreamlike possibilities.
Whoever crosses the threshold of this environment is immersed in an intimate connection with nature, and themselves. The structure itself takes on a unique meaning, in relation to each of our dreams. With its philosophy centered on wellness and connection with nature, Parco Acque ai Cappuccini presents itself as a place where dreams come to life, offering guests an oasis of peace and psychophysical regeneration.
