Traditional Japanese Farmhouse Kit House plan was Modified to meet client's contemporary needs. Kit was modified to provide increased height by raising perimeter wall heights, and Upper Floor Plan was modified to reduce upper spaces to Master Bedroom and bath in one corner and Art/Writing Studio in the opposite corner with a long interior bridge spanning across the entry between. This project was designed by David Ludwig while he was the Senior Design Associate at Polsky Architects in Larkspur.
