Poolside Gossip 2024

This 2024 modern candid photo for Dwell, captured by Paul Di Leo, was inspired by the late Slim Aaron’s Iconic Poolside Gossip 1970 of the Neutra’s Kaufmann House. Pauly D aka Paul DiLeo's modern home in Escena is featured in his photograph of young performers and their friends at a Labor Day birthday party. Models featured from left to right are Christine Tringali Nunes, Handsome Ned Douglas, Jacki Tringali Nunes, Deven Green, and Joe Seiler. Two stunning takes, decades apart, depict the hot Summers in Palm Springs, CA. One with mountains behind the pool (Slim Aarons) and one and a Palm Tree jetting up through the bedroom back window to the sky (Pauly D). The tradition continues on from Mid-century style to Ultra-Modern Escena living based on poolside classics of the beautiful people of Southern California.
