ROAM Adventure Basecamp is a modern and imaginative Scandinavian-inspired trailside camping and outdoor sports venue located in Seeley, Wisconsin (10 miles north of Hayward). Situated in the Sawyer County and nearby Chequamegon National forests, the project is designed to provide an immersion in nature. With access to miles of marked and mapped user-friendly trails to explore, unlimited outdoor adventures include mountain biking, hiking and paddling to cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking.

When in ROAM, experience rare trailside camping. Unload, set up, unpack and go. Forget loading your gear before the start of every adventure. Choose from 30 campsites plus 4 contemporary winterized cabins adjacent to the area’s premier single-track mountain biking trail and the famed American Birkebeiner ski trail. At the end of the day, unwind in our wood-fired, Finnish sauna and eco-friendly, state-of-the-art shower facility with heated floors. Connect with nature in this quiet, secluded setting nestled in the forest.
