Beverly Hills native, Roxy Sowlaty-Bijan, has been working in design since she was 16 years old. Her first foray into the industry was in fashion, and then after receiving her undergraduate degree from USC’s Marshall School of Business, she re-focused her craft to the interior design world.
With a new direction, Roxy obtained her Master’s in interior design from the Parsons New School of Design while working on various residential projects in Manhattan and Aspen.
Now back in California and the owner of her own interior design firm, Roxy is passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces that incorporate intriguing, playful, and fun design.
For one of her latest projects, 1564 Sunset Plaza Drive, Roxy incorporated classic details in a modern way.
Throughout the sprawling three-bed, three-bath reimagined residence, Roxy selected her three favorite features of the home as noted below.
Kitchen
Elegant tones of grey, gold, and white, punctuate the style and sophistication of the state-of-the-art chef's kitchen. Featuring large Macchia Vecchia marble slabs as well as first-class appliances and Waterstone fixtures, the kitchen has a warm and inviting appeal that is prime for creating sumptuous meals, gathering, or enjoying a morning coffee at the elegant nook.
Primary Bathroom
Elegance abounds in the primary bathroom, that is replete with book matched marble slabs and Newport Brass fixtures. The neutral soothing colors pair perfectly with gold elements to create a unique and relaxing environment.
Primary Closet
Continuing with the stunning color scheme, the neutral palette seamlessly flows from the primary bathroom to the ample closet. The symmetry and artistic lights give it a classic feel.
