From Catherine Morris

The Barn at Edenwood NC is an intentional vacation rental designed by local Riseroot Architecture and Design team for Charles and Catherine Morris, owners of Edenwood NC LLC. The Barn at Edenwood was designed with an Appalachian sense of place (the lone loft window of the front of the cabin is reminiscent of the old tobacco barns dotting the Appalachian valleys). The Barn at Edenwood is a tiny home, sits on 6 acres of wooded land on an historic mountain and is designed to meet the needs of travelers to the Asheville, NC and Western NC mountains - we are a food-centric region, so no full kitchen needed given multiple James Beard Award nominations and winners in our area. The tiny home design is also completely focused on rest and rejuvenation for guests. The entire loft area is dedicated to a soaking tub. The Barn is also built on the footprint of a 100 year old cabin that was not able to be restored, so the design of The Barn/tiny home is situated to take in the mountain azalea garden and pond of the former owner and faces Mt. Pisgah with winter-only views. The 60 foot ceiling and wall of windows is the only entertainment in The Barn (no tv).
