After relocating to Castle Pines, CO, our clients wanted to make their newly constructed builder-grade home feel more personal and tailored to their lifestyle. We drew inspiration from the American Southwest and incorporated organic tones and textures into the design, creating a distinctive aesthetic.
The dining area was inconveniently placed in front of the entryway and in the heart of the main floor. Our solution? A custom bench along the entire length of one wall created a dining area, additional seating, and visual interest. This not only freed the central traffic area but also created a sense of flow without compromising on comfort.

The design's organic notes are juxtaposed by soft geometric lines and shapes throughout. The smooth curves of the custom-designed upholstered bench back are balanced by the masculine, sturdy plinth legs supporting it. The travertine fireplace surround is sculpted with maximalist style, while the square unglazed zellige is understated. The design's cohesiveness is strengthened by the geometric qualities of the lighting and artwork. All of these elements work together to form a beautifully unique yet comforting space.
