This design + build retreat was crafted for a client that provides therapy for people who were involved in tragic, life altering situations. While her house is a special place of zen and peace for her and her family + clients have found this outdoor retreat to be a separate area that is safe for them as well as healing.

Custom rock path leads to the steps from multiple angles. Off the back porch for the client and around the side of the house for clients coming for therapy.

Black French Doors open up to offer a welcoming presence for clients as well as provide a contrast to the warmth of the wood and the brightness of the white metal standing seam.

Symmetrically Placed Energy Efficient LED Lighting provides ample light as well as a break from the linearly placed Doug Fir.

White Standing Seam Metal Exterior + Black Deck Flashing + #7 Grade Bolt Fasteners

Dual Casement Windows providing multiple light variations as well as a higher space for heat to be expelled.

4000 Lumen lights provide ample lighting at night to allow our client to make her way out to her space + look warm and inviting.

Night time hangs whenever required.

Interior Space has a natural and open feel with the dual windows stacked on top of each other + allows for ample amount of natural light in the afternoons.
