Office Concrete Floors Study Design Photos and Ideas

The dedicated office features a built-in workspace and a wall of built-in cabinetry.
The table lamp in the office was made by Travis Ekmark.
The hunting blind is a small and square room, furnished with a cowhide rug, two guest chairs, and a hunting bar.
The interiors were designed with a "minimal and rustic Texas feel,"  say the architects. The ceiling is tongue-and-groove pecan wood.
Tarantino Architect's extension includes a heightened clerestory lounge with built-in seating. Great care was taken to match the original materials and details.
The owner uses the ground floor as a studio for art and music.
“There are a lot of well-loved, well-used pieces that were destined for this house,” Andrea says of the couple’s furniture collection. They placed a solid alder Homestead table from Whittier Wood Furniture in the office, which also overlooks the pond.
HOME OFFICE
An Eames leg splint, a Florence Knoll credenza, and a chair by Engels furnish the office.
The stair railing becomes a picture ledge.
A simple desk area merges with a built-in sofa, which includes storage beneath it. The wood components in the units are bamboo, chosen for its durability and warmth.
A multipurpose room off the main area has the same plywood cabinetry for a consistent look. The room has sliding doors that can be closed for its use as a fourth bedroom or study, or left open to enlarge the main living area.
Pirman, an illustrator, works on a vintage Florence Knoll table in his studio at the front of the house.
Van Everbroeck’s home office occupies the end of one arm of the building. An industrial outdoor light fixture is mounted on a black-painted steel post. The orange of the back wall was chosen to work with the glowing rays of the sunset and the silhouetted, dancing shadows of leaves.
The now Family Room is filled with mid-century furnishings and accessories.  Bauhaus chairs, a Danish design credenza from the owner's vintage collection, a wood fire stove, a record player, and shelves of books create a comfortable family hang out space.

Architect Hernán Landolfo and his girlfriend, photographer Lucia Gentile, live and work in the apartment, sharing an elevated office space.

In 2015, the owner of Bo-Ex in Denmark, made the last Scimitar Chair before closing his factory in 2016. The chair is hand made at the original factory in Denmark with the original tools of the 1960's. To preserve the authenticity and high quality the leather has been shipped from Denmark to Italy where an authentic sewing machine was located to stitch the leather before shipping it back to Denmark to finalize the chair. The name of this rare chair is derived from the Turkish sword.
The office and library share an open bio-ethanol fuel fireplace by Ecosmart Fire.  The hearth is Walker Zanger Vintage Brown and stainless steel, the floors are polished concrete and the wood work is stained ash.
In 2015 the Fabricius & Kastholm desk bo-555 was manufactured for the Santa Monica Residence. Before that, it hadn't been manufactured for more than two decades.
