This is a small garden that anchors the site-lines with large features such as a bold red wall with a fountain at one end and a corten-steel wall behind the swimming pool at the other to lead your eye down the path creating a longer site line. The planting is intentionally minimized in terms of species so it does not overcrowd the space and includes sculptural elements without using artwork.

Proportion is a must when designing small spaces. Patios and pools must relate well to the size of the house and other garden elements.
