Nikon has maintained an unwavering commitment to the study of light with the corporate philosophy, “Trustworthiness and Creativity”. But today, as we become ever more global, what is the true value that we have to offer? To answer this all-important question, in 2007, we enacted “Our Aspirations — Meeting needs. Exceeding expectations.” as the new vision to create a new Nikon.

    At age 12, Eric Staudenmaier set out to document the streets of Denver with his Nikon FE, and ever since, he has been pointing a series of cameras at old buildings, contemporary architecture, urban landscapes, and other stage sets for human life. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and his photographs of cityscapes, homes, gardens, museums, and people have been published in numerous periodicals and books worldwide.
