  • GamFratesi
    @gamfratesi
    GamFratesi Design Studio was established in 2006 by furniture designers Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi. Gam is Danish, while Fratesi is Italian, and together they represent a new interpretation of the meeting between Danish and international design traditions. GamFratesi's design takes its creative drive from a fusion of traditional and experimental approaches in materials and techniques. With both of their backgrounds, Gam and Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. From this cross-cultural substrate the studio creates furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring distinctive embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom. GamFratesi aims to create furniture that illustrates the process and the techniques that created it, and reflect a persistent exploration of the diverse border zone between harmony and disharmony.
  • Eames Office
    @eamesoffice
    The Eames Office is dedicated to communicating, preserving and extending the work of Charles and Ray Eames. They feel that all three of those dimensions are important to keeping the office useful and vital, and that all of Charles and Ray’s work was the result of a way of looking at the world—a design philosophy and process that is worth sharing in many different dimensions. They do create new works as well, believing that creating wholly new works is as consistent with that philosophy as restoring and distributing classic ones.
