The husband’s home office is furnished by a Toot lounge chair by Piero Lissoni for Cassina, a vintage Desk BO69 by Finn Juhl, and a Swivel chair by Hans Wegner. A custom picture rail, filled with family photos, is made of bands of wood that keep contents in place.

Spanish firm Gon Architects and designer Ana Torres renovated this 69-foot-long Madrid flat to include a yellow-tiled bathroom, salmon-hued bedroom reading nook, and bright-blue kitchen stand. The home’s colorful corners are tied together by white passages and subtle wood floors.

Originally designed for Shaver-Howard in 1961, the Umanoff planter comes in three sizes at MENU: 27 inches ($139.95), 32.5 inches ($239.95), and 69 inches ($279.95). The powder-coated steel-and-rattan planter is an example of the black metal and natural fiber pieces that the designer created for the furniture manufacturer in the 1960s.
